DIY Smoothie

Hello Beautiful Ones,

I love smoothies!

I want to mix it up and give you guys variety in your diet. If you are following Hair Kitty Kitty's meal plan, where it says protein shake, you can try this recipe... Enjoy!

TRIPLE BERRIES SMOOTHIE



¾ cup of instant oatmeal, nuked in water or fat-free milk
¾ cup fat-free milk
¾ cup mixed frozen blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries
2 teaspoons whey protein powder (if scoop is provided in powder, one scoop)
3 ice cubes, crushed

Add all the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth.

Makes two 8-ounce servings.  A delicious quick snack or meal.

Estimate nutritional values:
Calories per serving: 144; Protein: 21 g; Carbs, 27 g, Fat: 1g; Saturated Fat: 0 g, Sodium 109 mg; Fiber 4 g
*Adding fat-free/low-fat yogurt is optional; nutritional values above will change
*Add more ice for extra volume
