Love Is In the Hair

Hello Beautiful Ones,
La'Tanya & Dominique, mother and daughter duo and owners of Sankofa Soul Accessories sent me these FABULOUS earrings about a month ago and I love them! When I wear these earrings around town, I get numerous compliments and inquiries.
These accessories are so  bold, original, fresh, and fly that you can keep your makeup and outfit simple and allow the earrings to be the statement piece. These are appropriate for women of all ages.
I had to share them with you. I love their unique designs and the creativity they put into their accessory line. Moreover, they are each HANDMADE you can tell they are made with love. According to their website,
"We strive to make unique FUNKY, FABULOUS and FLY products. Before placing your order, it is important to keep in mind that these are HANDMADE, with lots of love and passion of course but they may have minor imperfections. Our overall goal is that you are super satisfied with your product! "

You can order these earrings and more at: www.sankofasoul.artfire.com. Please check them out. They can make you custom earrings also. I cannot wait to order a custom pair for myself.

Thanks for the earrings ladies! Best wishes and much success with your business.

Luv,

Hair Kitty Kitty

Curly Meet-Up Party with Carol's Daughter & curlBOX

Hello Beautiful Ones,

Yesterday, I attended the Curly Meet-Up with Carol's Daughter and curlBOX. This special event was held by the Atlanta Naturals- black natural hair support group. Hundreds of beautiful curlies gathered at the Carol's Daughter store in Lenox Mall in Atlanta, GA.

The event was hosted by Myleik Teele the founder of curlBOX. She looked absolutely gorgeous. She had a fabulous hair cut and a glamorous, gold sequined dress.

is an affordable, exclusive and effortless way to explore new hair products. You can discover hand-selected curly hair products delivered to your doorstep every month (http://curlbox.com).

The Curly Meet-Up Party included a night of product information and demonstrations, goody bags and raffle giveaways, tasty treats and cocktails, and products discounts for all Atlanta Naturals.

The event highlighted Carol's Daughter "Hair Milk Collection", including the Co-Wash Cleansing Conditioner, Original Leave-In Moisturize, Lite Leave-In Moisturizer, and the Hair Milk Styling Pudding. One of the associates demonstrated the Hair Milk collection on my TWA. My curls felt refreshed & soft, and it was left with a nice floral scent. I have a sample, which I plan to use. If it works, I plan to purchase the products for daily use.

Lady Luckie

Celebrating Young Female Entreprenuers

Hello Beautiful Ones,

I had the wonderful opportunity to model for the brand, Lady Luckie, LLC. Lady Luckie, LLC. was created by owner and CEO Shemika Bryant. Shemika, like myself, is a native of Atlanta, GA. Shemika created the name Lady Luckie because of her love for ladybugs, hence her signature design of a ladybug. On her website, http://myladyluckie.com/, she states that "She believes everyone should follow their dreams and be happy, as well as, be successful in all that they do". She told me that it has always been a dream of hers to work in the fashion industry and network with others that have similar goals and ambitions.

Shemika created her own shopping website, http://myladyluckie.com/, to allow women to shop from the comfort of their own homes. She also wants women to feel great on the inside, look good on the outside by having an expensive look at an affordable price.
I absolutely love her t-shirt line and the cute and girlie accessories that she provides. They are affordable and you can choose items to dress up any casual look. Moreover, it is Shemika's positive attitude and amazing spirit that will keep me as a customer. I like to see beautiful strong women entrepreneurs doing great things for other women and the community at-large.

Check out this pictures from our photo shoot last week:

I had so much fun at the photo shoot. Thanks Shemika for the opportunity to share your work with others.
